Queen wondering?

What was your first wonder about Queen? :D
I only wondered who was the lead singer? (that had AIDS), who drummed, who played the lead guitar, bass guitar. :D

PS. Have you ever had doubts about Freddie's nationality? (when you first looked at him)

When I was very young, I used to argue with my brother about who sings. We had the ANATO album and I was convinced that the names in parenthesis ( ) after the song titles meant that person was singing. So I thought John Deacon sang You're My Best Friend.

I was probably 9 at the time. Kids were stupid back then :-P

Awwww. . . Not stupid, just uninformed. A reasonable mistake, I would say.

I hate to admit that I was confused (for a short time) about Freddie: the 70s Freddie and the 80s Freddie. I thought they were different people.

coz im only new to this (only became a fan this year), my first wonder was if they were still alive.

Alive, yes mostly, but Freddie's the only one whose been making good career moves the last few years.

i first saw queen on GH1 cover on cassette that i bought years ago and i can remember that i thought that blonde one was brian-don't know why, roger just seemed like someone whos name is brian

I used to think Slash and Brian May were brothers. I'm really unsure why probably cos they both played guitar and they had big hair. Strange what you think when you're 6. Another one was my mum had the Magic Live CD and on the front its looks like John isn't wearing any shorts so i used to ask my mum why John was wearing a dress.

Good_Company50, you're not the only one who had that thought...I thought the same thing too when I saw a few videos of Freddie and the guys from the 70s and the 80s back when I was 8 years old! :) I asked my dad, whether a different person was singing in the 80s videos and my dad burst out laughing! :)

I first wondered "what is that wonderful sound" in reference to Keep Yourself Alive. That was when I was like 3!
