Glad you enjoyed a Queen + Paul Rodgers concert ! The japanese ones were not that bad also, even if some would say he doesn't replace Freddie because he is unbeatable... but now Paul Rodgers IS the singer of Queeen !
would you mind uploading this concert in Flac format for the other queenzoners who haven't had the luck to download this because of the torrent format, and offer this on rapidshare or mediafire maybe ? You will make other queenzoners as happy as you, and let them have their own opinion about this "new Queen" live ?
You'd really be bringing something nice to the Queen fans !!

I'm uploading the files on MediaFire and when I'll get the links I will post them on this forum.
For me Paul Rodgers IS NOT THE NEW SINGER OF QUEEN. I would like to think that this is a new project of the two members of Queen Brian and Roger and the great singer Paul Rodgers who made the history of music with Free and Bad Company.
QUEEN for me is only with Freddie Mercury and John Deacon.
QUEEN + PR is another thing (and it's great but different from the originals Queen).

Well, we can either choose to regard QPR as a whole nex project or an alteration of the Queen project, anyone can have his mind on it, maybe both are right, somewhere in the middle. Maybe the next studio album will tell us if this is only the Queen trademarks with a different voice on it or if the trademarks will be greatly modified !
as far as the live part is concerned, we all have not been able to go to see them (I unfortunately couldn't attend their european gigs), but a good lot of those gigs were recorded it seems, we had the chance here to download some of them (I thank the Queenzoner who offered the japanese ones, don't remember his name). It could be great, before a new tour or studio album is published, that we try to have all (or the most) of the concerts of the tour on offer here for everyone, for every Queenzoner could make up his mind as far as the live performance of the new band is concerned, plus it could be a sort of, well, not "turning the page" really cause some of us (I do for the moment) prefer the Freddie period, but kind of accept the new work done and have the best information about the live performance.
Just a thought really, but it could be really nice !!

I think May's improv solos on A Kind of Magic live seem to be up there, if not better, than a lot of his Brighton Rock solos.
