I can understand that it is discontinued, but can anyone explain to me whay it sells for anywhere from 85-over 300 dollars on Ebay.
What is so special about this album and how can it sell for more than the Freddie 12 disc box set?

People may list it for that much on ebay, but it never sells at that price. I see them usually go for around $30 - $50.

agreed.
The basic answer is that there are less UK MBADTK CDs on the market than Freddie boxes.
Is that enough or do the principles of supply & demand need to be explicitly stated?

wow P-G, that came across as border line rude. and i am pretty sure it was uncalled for.
I think I asked a legit question, I was just trying to figure out if there was somthing of extreme interest on the album that I was unaware of.
as for the nice and polute reply from Erin, thanks.
