I'm just wondering.

Does anybody think that " Jesus ",the track from the first album, could be described as a christmas song.

I think it's got all the attributes to suggest that it might be.
Whadda ya think!
Memories my memories How long can you stay to haunt my days.
Not Christmas, I think of it more as an Easter song.
Freddie es como Carlos Gardel: cada dia canta mejor.

I'd say it's appropriate for both occasions, as both holidays are centered around Jesus.
It's probably not widely recognised that many Queen songs DO have a spiritual/Christian theme - especially the early stuff from Freddie. Strange given his background. It's also notable that many his songs do reflect his own religion
There's no mention of Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, so I'm not sure what holiday the song might be more appropriate for.
"Ladies and gentlemen... I guess that takes in most of you..." Groucho Marx, 'A Night at the Opera'

Yes, Roger Meadows Tailor, the lyrics give to think that Jesus the song it's about Jesus manifestations over humans and particulary to his born...

Merry Christmas to you all, of course !

go deo na hÉireann The best QZ epoch: BG17-00 (Before Gerry 1996-2013)
Gee, it looks like I have to listen to the song closely again. I just associate it with Easter or more like it Passover because I imagined the crowds following Jesus just before his last days on Earth.

Now, Santa Claus and Easter Bunny, it's true it should have been mentioned there to make it really spiritual...:P

Duh, it's a song about oral sex..."All going down to see the Lord Jesus...all going down.". "A fisher of men...". Come on folks.
Yep, Jesus is just a crapload of sexual stuff.

Let´s go line by line. At the beggining, a huge crowd receives the lord to try to get into a casting of a porn movie that would later occur in Bethelem. Even the leppers tried to get a spot! The old man said nothing because he knew he would never be chosen. Then... "All going down to see the lord Jesus". As said before, it´s just regular oral sex.

Then came a men and fell. He used his palm of the hand to touch the other guys head. Usual porn, casting stuff. All going down, all going down, clear as water.

Later, the three wise man stuff. They followed a star (a porn star!) who took them to Bethelem, where the porn movie filming would occur. They sounded throughout the land with pleasure. Born was a leader of man! They all going down again, and again, and again...

The end. Amazing porn stuff here. Just for the expert writer to understand. Grats Freddie for this huge piece of poetry that fools us into Christmas but is just as dirty as Get Down Make Love.
