[QUOTENAME]clear wrote: [/QUOTENAME]In the Official Uk charts it's a new entry at No. 90 this week. Why? Because it's a load of toss. Very worthy lyrics but, let's face it, you don't go around humming words. You hum the tune and this one is bollocks.
Interestingly at No. 81 this week is Don't Stop Me Now - about 28 years since it was released as a single.
Now there's a tune (and a singer!)
How do they compile the Top´s these days?
I´m from the old school, and i don´t underrstand quite well the new way to do it.
Does this means that every music in ITunes or other digital store counts as a single?
Take care

I got it in HMV last week.

Seems like they fumbled the release to me.
Available free to promote a charity followed by a paid release.
I hope they promote the new album better than this.

they'll probably give the new album away with packets of cornflakes...
although if they wanna give it some kudos...they could package it with a 30th anniversary double pack of Jazz...

So that it'll be a lot more expensive and people in general will refuse to pay so much to get a repeated disc?
Sounds intelligent.

I was in the 'Free Record Shop' today (The Netherlands) and "Say It's Not True" was in the shelves at chartnr. 20..... Normally I would think that means it's on nr. 20 of the charts, right? On the other hand, I doubt if it's really true.
That must mean that they've sold about 9 or 10 copies, right?
In the "official" Dutch Top 40 the single enters at no. 36 this week:

Hey - last night I finally saw SINT in my local Zavvi (formerly Virgin)!
I didn't get it. €4 for a song I've already had downloaded and video I could only watch on a computer(I don't have one at home).
