Dear Oliver,

first CD comes from "King's Favourite silver" (VG quality, see SirGH site) while second CD comes from the original "Kings Favourite" LP (Ex-quality). I am sure at 100%.

Can you check your version?

Well, I'm 100% sure this is taken from the silvers CDS, both, as I extracted the tracks myself. But the CDs are probably taken from the LP !

As far as I can tell, the content of the silvers is from the LP, but it was processed by the bootleg company in some way with the end result being a bit worse to my ears. It seems their aim was to reduce the tape hiss, but they lost a fair amount of the high end.

Anyway, can you confirm if it's just me or really this version has CD1 in worse quality than CD2?

The quality is the same... it's just a difference in volume.

Thanks for the reupload, and for all the recent reuploads (I guess a lot others to come !).
I can't visit Queenzone as frequently as I did before (that's why I haven't posted any new bootleg here for some time), and with this recent megaupload "problem" (after a Rapidshare problem previously), I thought there would be something really wrong, and that all the links I posted would be dead for good, which saddened me a lot.
But of course you were to save the Queen world !!!

Last year I did need to collect lots of those recordings because one of my HD's died (1.5 TB of Queen files was simply gone).
It feels good to do something back now to replace all the files which I have downloaded last year :)
