Does anyone here remember the band Cruella De Ville from the mid 80's? Their guitarist Colum Muinzer (who also shared vocals with his sister) was influenced by our very own Brian May.

Give them a listen on: www.youtube.com/cruelladevillemusic

i may be wrong.was it not .mink de ville?
seems we were both right lol.
galashields:

No, different band. This Cruella is a band from Ireland. Mink, (or Willy) as we know him, is a fantastic songwriter and had a small cult-like following in the 70s and 80s.

Actually, I think Freddie must have known about him, because there's a similar style in the way they carried themselves on stage. Kindof a cross between Freddie and Bruce Springsteen.
Kindof a cross between puking and just holding it in....
even for the 80's this is pretty crap!
but hey, to each their own, i guess
it's good 2 b bad
Willy?

Nah...

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father... prepare to die...."
The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.
Cruella De Ville? Never heard about that band.
Checked it out on YouTube and...it's great, sounds a bit like Squeeze at times. Great band, thank you for the link!! I'll buy their records.

edit: no official CD/LP is available...it's such a shame...

I've recently transferred all their songs from vinyl to cd and "cleaned" them - there's not many of them.
The singers Philomena and Colum have provided a couple of tracks and with their permission I'm offering it to others. email me at cdv@tjr.dk if you're interested.
