Hi
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/617/studio80sla1.jpg
I just wondered if anybody could identify the interview that this picture came from. Judging by the camera and the presence of the three guys (not sure where John is!) it looks like it may have been part of a documentary or promo. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Looks like Mack between Roger and Brian. But this is not Musicland Studios i think.
But i don't know either where or what this is.

They are sitting at a desk at which they have placed lots of croutons in a neat order, probably Brians doing.

Oh yeah, there he is! So now there's two photos from the same time but no information about what they were filming. I have no idea how to find out, oh well.

Looks like around 1980, maybe when they were recording Flash Gordon? I don't know by heart in what studio that happened. Apart from that, can it be Montreux? It seems to have the same atmosphere as the Jazz LP inlay with the picture of Montreux inside...

I think you're right. That's what John and Brian were wearing in the Flash video.

Well spotted Sunshine and shieldmatron! Freddie was also wearing that outfit (plus a leather jacket) too in the Flash video...
Still, doesn't explain the camera yet...unless someone with amazing scientific foresight (maybe Brian) thought:
"Just in case 20 odd years down the line someone invents the 'DVD' and the Special Edition of Flash Gordon is released, let's make some good bonus features!"

Well, judging by the cigarette in Freddie's hand, this picture definitely predates the indoor smoking laws of the mid-to-late 90's.
I recognize the guy between Roger & Brian, I'm pretty sure that's Mike Stone, he was Queen's engineer for many years up until I think, News of the World.
But Looking a little closer, I could be wrong.
