Like River Phoenix and James Dean, another tragic death in Hollywod at a young age. Brad Renfro dies at 25. And BTW this story reminds me the River Phoenix story too much 'cuz of the drugs abuse.

Comparing him to River Phoenix and James Dean?

It's sad that some of these kids can't handle the life, but this guy did nothing really to speak of, other than die young.
The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.
Fuck him, should have auditioned for more movie roles rather than snort his fortune.
Star? Never heard of him. Or her. Whoever.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.

Glad I'm not the only one who has never heard of this guy before.

Do you assholes ever consider doing a little research before spewing your venom? Brad worked continuously up to his death and showed his acting skill at an early age. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000605

A bunch of lighter comedic or lesser-known roles doesn't make one's early death any less tragic. He wasn't some pathetic drug addict who couldn't get work. He worked constantly and just hadn't yet had the chance to prove himself (again) as an adult. He could have easily become one of the greats. If you don't believe me, rent a little film called "The Cure" where he befriends a young boy dying of AIDS. You remember AIDS, right? The drug-addicted, promiscuous singer of a certain rock band died from it.

Yeah, definitely not a star. At least now we know that he was a drug addict that COULD get work. Thanks, J7.

After further research, I have learned that you like shitty movies.

Would anyone be able to get me a government grant or something to further this study, or should I quit now?
I don't find addicts pathetic at all, it's a serious problem.

However, that doesn't change the fact that we hardly lost another River Phoenix or James Dean here.
It's sad, but not surprising and hardly the biggest loss the acting community is going to have in the next decade.
Loved him as Josh in "Ghost World" and he totally owned "The Client".
I saved Spike's life in 'Nam.
Well since we're at it...

RIP Stevie Ray. A young star who died.
