...I agree...it's not mp3...it's more like the spectrum of a (slightly decayed) seventies audio-cassette, probably ferro (CRO2 has a little more high-end...in general). The dynamic range of those tapes was roughly between 16 and 14000Hz. The recording device must also have set it's limmets though.
