Does anyone happen to know where the following photograph comes from? Which concert is this?

As you may or may not know, we have had some difficulties on Freddie's Wikipedia page in finding a suitable photograph. I believe that this one would be acceptable, provided that we could identify the year and the concert. ~~~~

That looks like it's from the 1997 Queen Rocks tour...
I think this is from 1980, is possible from St. Paul-Minnesota in September 1980.He wore during the concerts red neck-tie and red band (without white lines) on his wrist in that time.

Why is it that Queen fans need to shove the band's accomplishments down people's throats? For example, why must the RnR Hall Of Fame induction be mentioned in the first sentence of the Wiki article? And why, of all things, was that picked as the crowning achievement?
There is far too much unnecessary information in that Wiki article - things that literally 99.99% of its readers would not be remotely interested in. There is also far too much repetition with the Queen article, and within the article itself. About half of it should be removed for those reasons. The article should be about Freddie, not Queen. Queen stuff belongs in the Queen article.
Look at Robert Plant's article, in comparison. It's perfect. Like anything, it's about quality, not quantity. Freddie isn't going to seem any more important or interesting to the casual reader if his article is longer. People will think, "Who are these over-obsessed and under-sexed fans who have nothing better to do with their time?"
My two cents. Feel free to tell me how you're a bigger fan than any of us, and that we're not real fans because we may see other musicians as being equally or even more relevant than Freddie.

There's only one thing: I always find it very difficult to talk about the relevance of an artist. Who was influenced by who?(of course sometimes it's bloody obvious:-) That question is asked a bit too much, if you ask me. I enjoy reading music reviews but many of these writers are obsessed by who influenced who and sometimes they miss the essence of an album or concert. I enjoy various artists because of their uniqueness and the bands I enjoy most do indeed have certain things in common but most of all: they are all impossible to imitate. People should sometimes more enjoy the music. Not analyse it, but just feel it.
Of course, your posts and site prove to me you've got the best of both worlds. As a musician you're able to analyse music(I mean the technical side of things)but on the other hand you are also capable of feeling the music and the passion even if it's not technically perfect. I know musicians that lack that quality.

It's 1980 from the USA tour. This is one of photographer Neal Preston's photos from a huge series he did at the time. This image also became a promotional photo for Elektra records in the US.
