Speaking about storms, I had my share of trouble with them. :
Last Friday I was going to my Spanish class, and it started raining too fast. One minute I was safe and dry walking, the next minute it was already raining heavily and my clothes were soaked (I still insisted on running to my Spanish class), and after I ran for a couple of blocks, the streets were getting flooded, so I had to enter a shop and watch cars getting trapped in the flood and a dog swimming where the sidewalk was supposed to be. :P

I feel like I've been pissed on a thousand times by this stupid weather today. :D

My dad sent me a news article with pictures attached to it from your storms over there, and in it was a picture of the waves crashing on "The Cornish village of Porthleven", right there by the house and clock tower. My dad said, "Does any of this look familiar?" LOL!! So I forwarded him the pics you sent to me of the storms from the same angle and same view and said, "Yeah...I have a picture of myself right down there! Wasn't quite as wavy when I was there though."

on a funny note, i changed my grampas guitar strings. i saved them for posterity. he hasntchanged the strings since he got the guitar. that was 25 years ago! teehee.
