I read somewhere that Freddie was tested HIV-positive in 1987, four years before his death. But he must have attracted the virus earlier on, right? Developing AIDS from HIV and finally die took more then just four years with the then existing types of medicine, didn't it? So perhaps he found out about his illnes in '87 but was attracted by HIV a couple of years earlier?

As you can see, I'm no expert on the subject so I hope anyone of you fine people can help me out on this one.

I think Freddie could get it from late 83-mid 84, during the works session in Los Angeles or even in many of travels to USA. in this time,HIV/AIDS spread out to the speed of light and it was the country more affected, and was in USA, for the first time, where the virus travelled from Africa in early 80.
