I just can't believe this. I'm taken for words. I hope my friends who live there are safe and away from the danger.

I can't believe it. I was supposed to be going to a RiD DJ set tonight, right where the fire is... A load of my friends are there.

The Hawley Arms is on fire.

My god.

The market's up in flames.

Isn't the buses not going through there? Underground? And also, the Overground is totally fucked up there. The fire caught most of it. I don't know about the Underground though.....

It's a miracle they actually managed to evacuate everybody from The Hawley before it when up in smoke, on a Saturday evening not only would it be packed, but everyone was blatantly off their face.

Oh well, I'm not really too bothered about The Hawley, it's such a posey place. But the Lock... it's going to make me sad if there's lot's of damage :(

Camden's my 2nd home man! The Market area is damaged a bit. I even bought stuff from that area today. Scaaaary. No more Market for quite sometime now. Yup....

Though the main thing is, that NO ONE is HURT nor DEAD. That's great. Looking at the pictures and video footage, I'm surprised everyones fine. They've been putting out that fire since 7:30pm and it's now 11:20pm here. Fire is still blazing a bit. :|

Girls, remember... It's not a person who's dying, it's a bunch of shops. They mean a lot to you two, but... They can, and very likely WILL be rebuilt.

Camden attracts 300,000 people a WEEKEND, among them lots of celebs... I bet they'll hurry the fuck up and rebuild it as fast as possible. ;)

Camden has remained the same for years though, it's one of the most unique parts of London, there are no shops that you see everywhere else in London, like Topshop etc. it's all unique shops. I just hope they don't use this as an excuse to modernise it and make it a clone of everywhere else in London.
