The first song Kurt Cobain wrote was "Spank Thru".

Especially the intro is very similar to "Calling All Girls".

Or what do you think?

"Spank Thru" was a Fecal Matter song and, according to Krist Novoselic, the first ever Nirvana song. It was first recorded for the Illiteracy Will Prevail demo in December 1985.

Go fuck your self if you have nothing postive to add.

in fact, it was the song which encouraged Novoselic to join forces with Cobain. so, symbolically, you could perhaps say it was the first one, but actually it's not very easy to say which of them was. moreover, "Spank" wasn't the first Fecal Matter song, so there you go.

still, this is not the subject of the discussion. if you want me to contribute more, here you are. OK, the chord progression of the verse is identical. so what??? this chord progression consists basically of three different chords, so musically it's trivial and it's fairly easy to come up with it, without copying it from anyone. just because two songs have the same chord progression does not mean you have to create a new thread. Hello! "Zombie" has the same chord progression as "All I want", let's make a thread about it. Oh, perhaps we should make another thread about the similarities between "All I Want" and "Passenger". And then yet another about "Passenger" and "Zombie".

As for the fucking bit, it's not your business who I fuck so sod off.

THANK you!!! I will go sod of...

All that was needed was some info to shed some light on the song. There was no need to tell the guy "get a life"... No right at all, as much as i have no right to tell you to go fuck of, ect ect.
