Queen have toured with some good bands opening up for them, my personal favorite being Thin Lizzy. Just wondering what you guy thought.

Status Quo and Big Country were awesome.The worst were Bow Wow Wow(They weren't too bad)and Belouise Some(!!!?)who stank

Thin Lizzy and Billy Squier were the best openers I saw. The worst: Dakota, didn't know who they were before the show, and never heard of them again after the show.

I agree!!! Dakota sucked!!!! Saw them in Providence in 1980 and we couldn't wait for them to get off the stage!!!

I was disappointed they werent on the night I went because I wanted to throw mud at them. I saw Heart instead and they were fantastic.

i will have to agree that billy squier rocked and dakota sucked...do you want to hear the worst part of it all...dakota actually played at my sisters' prom a few years earlier and some of the people i went to the 1980 concert in ames, iowa thought that they were pretty good. i told them that this wasn't music and spent more time looking at the t-shirts and such...while they all cheered them on. how sad...
