I don't want to offend anybody, and also don't wanna be offended. I'm just a poor boy who love Queen and want to share something. Maybe Sir GH knows a lot about Queen, but he blamed therads like mine. If I offended somebody, please apologise me.
Sorry for my poor english.
Cheers!

Your english is pretty understandable, but you should also try to understand that you will irritate a lot of people with posting a show with so many errors.
Some people will try to tell it politely, others will respond more agressive, but all will tell you approximately the same

Yes, Pittrek is right, maybe your only fault was thinking sharing an mp3 show was not a problem, but not only it is lossy, it is also incomplete and full of errors as previously said. We don't want to blame a new sharer, that is not the rule here, we can only enjoy that you wanted to share. Just think about these remarks for your next shares and keep positive !!
But don't get narrow-minded thinking your share was a perfect one, just try to improve quality for your next shares as a lot of people do here. And remember that someone wanting a "downgraded" recording can do it himself, for his own pleasure, just as you can do yourself maybe, for listening in your car or anything else, or because you don't want to worry with learning about lossless and Flac and all that looks a little like chineese language to you (sorry chineese-speaking Queenzoners, it is not said as an offence to you !). If you say you care about quality, then take the time to learn about lossless, it is not that difficult nor long and we can help you having higher standards, I'm sure you will find the help you need here, even those who "attacked" you could help you with great pleasure (it was not a personal attack, just that you're not the first to share incomplete, lossy and full of errors recordings and people can get frustrated or irritated). And if not, then just tell me what you need to know and I'll try my best to explain you !

Why the fuck you don´t post your COMPLETE,CLEAN,FLAC BEST version of this show then you fucking perfectionists instead of critisizing????for collectors is a problem mp3???collectors are mainly a bunch of greedy motherfuckers, who cares about them when mainly of them just talk about their precious treasures without sharing anything anywhere,so keep them for yourselves and let people share what they want and if it is a better version just put them here and don´t say anything you bitches.
Heap big woman you made an asshole outta me....gimme your bums and ride!!!!!!
You seem to be pretty fed up with the turn taken by Queenzone, Dear LR-Tiger, whoever you are. Quality standards are going up and I don't think this is a bad thing.
The bad thing with you is the language you use. If you don't like Queenzone I don't know why you are still around. And if you try to lower down this website then I don't understand. You probably have your own reasons, but there are other websites where you can find much easier lossy material than here, and don't tell me I'm wrong. And once again, if you want to lower the quality, then do it yourself, and let collectors taking care of the quality if you don't want to do it yourself. Learn the respect for the music, and I must admit that maybe you should also learn the respect towards other fellow Queenzoners, your language is a real nasty one, once you're left this forum I think everyone will feel happy to have the forum clean again of those nasty words. Of course, you're not alone talking this way. But you're someone that seems angry. So just leave the board and let the peace. I don't like having to tell such things and feeling the thunder of Queenzoners, and I'm sure you will probably answer badly to this, but hey, I had to say that. I just said that politely.

Regards (still),

Olivier,

First, I must say that is a pleasure find people like you here, Olivier. You are very kind and patient.
Maybe my error was try to share something in a site with a very high standard quality and which is thought for European people. I mean the fact that FLAC is too heavy for much people from countries with standard internet connections lower than yours, so many of us (I mean South America people and maybe from other areas of the world that I can't say because I ignore it)search MP3 files. You may consider that while you download a FLAC concert I download an .avi or .mpg concert in video. For the same reason you may prefer DVD!! (download 4,7 gb. take an eternity, even to me that I fortunately have wide connection). So, next time I will be more cautius and won't make start a thread like this. The truth is that a simple collector like me (only outstanding in a very small local level) doesn't have nothing to offer to high standards "First World" collectors like you (with a Worldwide level). So, I must keep download files when I'm interested in and thank for that, and not to share my poor, lossy and incomplete files.
Peace to all!!!
God save the Queen!!!
A man who learnt how to teach, but forgot how to learn. A la grande le puse cuca!!
Well, thank you for your answer. No, you don't need to keep your files for you, you can share here indeed ! If you have created those mp3 from a CD bootleg or something, maybe you can create FLAC instead of MP3 and share here !
The fact is that I don't have this gig, so the problem does not lie in the music you share (well, if we exclude the fact that is incomplete some might say). So if you share as a Flac format, you have the following advantages :
1 - you reduce the risk of digital errors
2 - you earn my respect and admiration and eternal gratitude for having shared a concert I didn't have.
3 - you will possibly make new friends if you want to and if the discussion around your files is pleasant (it will be more relaxed if it is lossless, believe me !).
4 - you won't participate to the fact that music is downgraded with a lossy conversion, and will in fact participate to the music preservation. You could take the parallel to animals to some extents. Well, if you don't care about music, and let it circulating in a lossy format, the music is really downgraded at the first conversion, even if you think it is not noticeable by hearing it (I made the experience). But if you look deeper, with a frequency analysis for instance, you will see that. And one or two or three or X conversions later the music does not have the same shape than on the origical source. Lossless is really that thing. I think Bob alias SirGH alias MrKnowall made the demonstration once on this forum. So lossy must really be kept for oneself and not traded or given, this way it won't circulate and take the place of the lossless version. A huge debate ! But a noble cause.

There is still one problem, which is the quality and speed of your connection. Yes it seems that some countries have lower connections. That's a problem that I hope will be solved rapidly, as it is not fair if everyone does not have the same speed. I don't have an extra hi-speed connection as some of us can have. Downloading a lossless concert takes quite some time, about two or three hours at times. But I don't download 50 concerts a day, we don't have so many gigs shared in a day, so... And I am really pleased when the downloading's over, and even if I could have searched for lossy format to download faster, I prefer keeping as lossless, not only to help other Queenzoners or non-Queenzoners upgrading their collection if they don't have this one, but also to trade with other bands' fans for example. And to be sure that quality of the files I have is preserved.

So I think that for the moment we can't do anything about low-speed connections, sadly, but if we still are able to maintain a good quality standard and deal with lossless versions, then that's a good thing. It is not the lossless thing that can exclude people coming from countries with low-speed connection, but the low-speed itself. But sure this will be developping rapidly and high-speed will be offered to you.

Why don't you try once to get a lossless gig, and try to share one (this one maybe) ? There are two or three things to learn before, but that is not really difficult. If you want to take the time and try to do that, I can try to help you, just tell me and I will try to guide you if you want !

Regards,

Olivier,
France.

PS : for that speed connection reason I don't download DVDs too !! I'll see that part of the collection later, maybe more by postal trade...

Escuse me, Mr Knowall.
Please do you a favour and live and let live. If some people want the "lossy" versions of concerts it's not your problem. That the least of your problems, I must say (or sadly not).
Peace!
Alex, although he did not quote me directly, I think you will find that Sir GH was responding to what I had said in my post above his. I brought up the subject of the crackling / digital noise. And now, thanks to him, I now know that there is better versions of this show out there for .

Secondly, Sir GH is not blaming you - or at least I dont think he is. What he is against is the unscrupulous idiots who polute the trading pool with inferior products and try to pass them off as the genuine thing. Often shows are uploaded here as flac and the person who ups them usually has the statement "only convert to mp3 for your own personal use". A simple request really but it is unbelievable how many people try to trade off mp3 as flac, divx and flv (flash video used on youtube) as DVD, etc. When you read that, I think you will see his point. I personally am not against mp3, but I would much prefer flac if I could have it.

Finally, thanks again for your upload but there was actually 2 reasons why I deleted the files. Firstly I found the audio to be a little too quiet. That I could very easily cope with as it would have just been a matter of loading the stuff into Audition and fixing it that way. Secondly, and this was what done it for me, was the cracklin which (as far as I know) no amount of fixing using Audition can get rid of completely.

Cheers anyway.

MP3 is allowed to be shared on Queenzone, and that right should not infringed upon by whiners who are too lazy to use a spectral analyzer. The only sharing rule on Queenzone is that official items are not allowed.

There is no good reason why all mainstream mp3 users should be penalized if a few isolated people trade, sell or share a lossy sourced flac (whether by accident or as an act of fraud).

Yes, you are right, BUT this has also a fake date or location, and it's full of digital errors ( I think it's called "clicks" in english)

And nobody said you were. Naturally, we appreciate when new people want to share, but we have entered an era where most of us want to ensure the best version of each show is shared. We can't accomplish that without discussing shares that aren't of the best versions. Nobody attacked you as a person, so please try not to take these things personally. :)

Ha... now that's funny. Without the hard work and generosity of tapers, transferrers, and collectors, you wouldn't have anything in your collection at all. You're the one who needs to stop complaining, not the people with quality standards who make the best possible recordings available for you to point, click, and download for free. As far as I know, you have contributed little more to this community than perpetual whining and vulgarity.
Why the fuck you don´t post your COMPLETE,CLEAN,FLAC BEST version of this show then you fucking perfectionists instead of critisizing????
So there is no option C - to discuss shares without being required to share something in reply... assuming one has it?

No matter what you say or believe is right, nobody is going to take you seriously until you express yourself with a bit of maturity and restraint.

Hello Bo Alex, this website is not meant for Europeans, only - it's in fact owned by an Australian fan and it's for everybody. I am very sorry that you feel belittled by the comments in this thread and it makes me feel ashamed. I hope you keep enjoying the forum. It's for all Queen fans.
I do not want any google ads here.
