Hi everybody!
I already know that DB has never been one of Band's favourite. Although in Live Killers Freddie (and the whole Band) seemed very pleased and fun it. Why Queen had to sing live a song they didn't like? Because their "entourage", their record house asked 'em to play?
I don't think so...
What's your think?
bye

Who said they didnt like it? Secondly, no record company or "entourage" can tell a band what to play or what not to play. Bands like Queen don't work like that. They try things out live maybe to see how it would have fit in the show and to keep themselves interested. And finally, why would they even record (nevermind play it live) a song they dont like?

Hey mate, I'm a big fan. I've asked something I red somewhere in this forum. Maybe I'm not so good in explanation, maybe I'm completely wrong.
But that's all!
I know the words that Brian says before DB in LiveKillers "A little bit of non sense now..." are about their dislike Vs the song, but played 'cos some of EMI or I don't know who else, suggested to do it live.
Anyway thank you.

The key is to say how you feel, what you think, and what you know, so you don't have to make excuses for it in the future. Sentence structure, content, and word choice makes all the difference.

Thats cool Claudio, I didnt actually mean my post to sound like I was having a go - I wasnt. Anyway, back on topic. I had a listen to the song again and personally I think that what Brian said is just one of those throw-away lines and he just meant they were gonna have a bit of fun now.
A great site to visit regarding Live Killers in general, is Bob's site www.queenlive.ca . Check out the analysis section, it is fascinating indeed.

A ball, as in a formal dance party (like in Cinderella). So the song is about taking someone to a dance in their dreams, because they couldn't do it in real life.

*sigh* This song... one of my few pet annoyances. It just never really cut the mustard with me. Always felt like it was trying to get somewhere but just couldn't. Lots of build ups and lots of musical bathos! The right ideas were there although somewhat confused.

People like to see those things in their dreams about which they think the most. They don’t have to do anything with the reality. The essay writers australia can provide you the summary of your dreams well. I like your style or way of expressing your dream.
