I was just thinking how great it would be if queen and paul rogers made an appearance at this years festival or any other festival for this matter - vfest, reading etc - does anyone know if queen (with freddie) played glasto or anything like that in the past?

or maybe ,t in the park.instead of that daft bitch amy winehouse.
They've never played any festivals like Glastonbury. The nearest you'll get to that is Knebworth 86 i'm afraid and thats not even close.

I do think it would be great promotion for them. They would easily get a healine slot at Glastonbury. Maybe Monsters of Rock or something. Does anyone feel theyre doing as little to promote this album up to now as they did SINT?

Dont worry. That well oiled promotion machine will,in the coming weeks and months ahead, start to click into gear and a trickle will turn into a flood.

Mind you, they might not need to promote themselves the way everybody's going on in this forum.

Everybody seems to be ready like sprinters at their starting blocks for the announcement of this up and coming tour.

ive been saying they should do Glastonbury for the last 25 years!
be better than bloody Jay-z which is why im not gonna bother with the festival this year.
isnt innuendo an italian suppository? im gonna ride the wild wind! its_a_hard_life wrote:you nutcase you rule! joxer replies: but in a nice way :-]
I very much doubt they will do Glastonbury this year. The Friday of Glastonbury clashes with the 46664 Hyde park concert, that they are already committed to playing.
I doubt QPR would go down very well on a festival.
Roger AAAAAHHHH!
rather they play in my back garden i'll even light the bbq
Dont stop me now and the end to boh-rhap in the mud that really would be something - far better than jay z anyway whos supposedly headlining this year for some reason.
