According to my information the version without the audience comes from 21. February 1974, and the version with the audience comes from 14. March 1974.
(Those are the dates written on my DVD bootleg).

You mix that up with Seven Seas Of Rhye. The Killer Queen TOTP performance was recorded in October 1974 according to the "Flix" liner notes. I don't know the precise date, though.

TOTP was transmitted on 25th and 27th, there wasn't translation on 26th. But anyway there was translation in October according to GVH, and in the end of September according to TOTP sources.

When that was recording?
Sleeve says October, the TOTP official DB says December, the TOTP unofficial DB says September. First and third are probably the same. Second was the Xmas translation of previously seen the September/October version probably.
