*Sometimes, I detune my violin to other tunings, including viola tuning. I also use a guitar pick at times.
Do you compose/arrange songs?
*Yes.

*Yes, if I had time to record one.

I've played the violin for 5-6 years. I play the cello. Somewhat. But I don't usually list cello when I say what instruments I play. :P
What types of music do you play?
Classical is all, I guess; I'm not really into the metalhead wild and crazy stringing, if you will. But yus.... Strauss and Beethoven and Bach and Vivaldi and Dvorák and the list goes on. :P
Are any of those genres rock/metal?
No metal, but I can play some violin/cello stuff from Beatles songs and stuff like that.
Do you have an electric version of your instrument?
Nope. I've two violins, one made in the Czech Republic and one is my Mum's old one from Germany that's a tad small for me now... I have a cello too, also Czech, methinks. But none are electric.
Do you have any unusual methods of playing your instrument?
Not necessarily.

I've never tried, but I most likely can't.
Would you be willing to share a video/audio clip of yourself playing?
As I told Carol once, send me a digital camera that can shoot sound videos and you have your wish. ;) But I may be able to. Someday. An audio clip sooner than a video one, most likely.

The violin wasn't for me. I had trouble tuning the G-string.
But my trusty ol' organ never lets me down.
