Good post, crusader. I also think it's not good to blame the nation just because part of it are nationalists. Nationalism is indeed bad.
And I somehow think the people of Kosovo are not really innocent victims either. So maybe my initial post wasn't very wise. It's just that the region of south east Europe, mainly former Yugoslavia but also Turkey looks a bit too wild to me... neverending conflicts, religion, old traditions... exact opposite of the calm and beautiful Scandinavia which you also mentioned :-)

So, my point is, you also have your "dark side", for example, I can't believe that people like Thompson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thompson_(band)) still have support there. If I'm Croat I would be ashamed to have such man making concerts freely, and even with audience of more than 50.000 people!

I can understand if you consider Ante Gotovina a hero, but you also have to accept that he did some war crimes. As some people in Serbia consider Ratko Mladic a hero, but there is more and more people accepting that he is also guilty for some war crimes.
What happened, happened, we can't turn time back, we have to accept COMPLETE truth, forget on all disagreements, and continue to make better future for all of us!
