will they do a live recording?

do you think they wiil do a liver recording of the new tour? maybe it will be like the old tour were they recred a song or two pershow, the do a live album at the end?

I think it is almost a certainty. They will release a liver album. Preferably with onions.

I got a feeling we will be seeing the O2 show on DVD...

Although i am English, i would love to see a South American Show, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico or wherever...... the atmosphere there would be electric.

Rush released a DVD of a show in Brazil, compare that to a release they have from a recent(ish)show in Germany and you will see the difference.

if they are goin to do it then i hope they dont make a mess of it, i dont want it cut or meesed with, i want it done proeprly......

O2 gig? possible... but than who knows- if they're gonna go to Latin America later and they'll expect some nice crowds there- maybe they'll plan to record and release some gigs from there?
But I mean any UK gig could be recorded and released- what's so special about Sheffield (apart from the worst crowd on UK leg...) that was recorded last time? For all we know it could be Nottingham for all i's worth...
I mentioned it before- when Gdansk gig was only a rumour- last gigs played there (Jean Michel Jarre, Dave Gilmour and Rod Stewart) were shown on TV... that would be cool if they were to broadcast that gig...

Part of me hopes that they do what The Who, Genesis, Pearl Jam, and Peter Gabriel have been doing: offering full soundboard shows a few weeks after the show, with all proceeds going to charity. This would not only cut down considerably on bootlegs, but it would also be a nice souvenir for audiences of particular shows. QPR could even do what The Who did on their most recent tour, and include a DVD of the concert, taken from footage broadcast onto the screens.

It doesn't have to be a big production, and it would be preferable to the individual downloads or an inevitable live album wrap-up. In fact, a bunch of people on QOL suggested it to the administrator, who was asking for suggestions/ideas, and I think QPR might actually be going with this idea for the upcoming tour.

I'd love it, if they did that. We have one of those nifty Pearl Jam "bootlegs" from when we saw them in Charlotte.
