a mate of mine once found a live bullet and not only kept it but painted his name on it and when quizzed replied "i cant get shot now as i have the bullet with my name on it".

Of course someone with a gun could post a danger. But there are some people who are properly licensed and only use guns to shoot cardboard targets for fun...like moi :) I do not shoot animals or people, just cardboard.

just last week i jumped on a piece of cardboard in a back alley and it growled and yelled "f*ck off,give me some change" at me as i ran off..

I was teasing him. We tend to butt heads on the topic of guns and I thought I saw a vulnerability in his normal argument that I could (playfully) exploit.
btw - I'm glad you only shoot cardboard but have trouble seeing the 'fun' in shooting anything. No offense intended. Just my opinion on the subject.
