When Queen Does "Radio Ga Ga" Live, What Does Spike Edney, (The Keyboardest) use in order for him to Say "Radio" in the song?

Inspite the wrong forum I'll give the answer. For "radio" voice Spike used vocoder Roland VP-330. He also used it in his keyboard solo when you can hear him say "machines".

I heard that, because he knew Brian was a Star Wars fan, he wore one of these to change his voice
