Am I the only one disappointed in Queenzone?

I guess, by now, most QZ readers know that my 'penisland' posting was a joke based on our reading perceptions.

Perhaps I should have known better, but am I the only one disappointed in Jake - or others - who have created links to genuine pornographic sites?

I am not a prude, but I am well aware that young children, and teenagers under the legal age of consent, visit this site.
I know that porn can be easily found using search engines like 'Google', and I am also aware that parents should supervise children's internet behaviour.
However, I do not think that places like QZ need to promote hard core porn, or that this site become unnecessarily child unfriendly.

As a believer in introducing new, younger audiences to Queen, is there any chance that links to hard core porn could be deleted please?

I too clicked, and ventured into the land of male gay porn, I am (mildly) ashamed to admit.

But, not being a porn fan, I didn't really like what I saw. And it was nothing surprising, nothing I have never stumbled on before, on purpose or on accident. I suppose I've been de-sensitised. Oh woe.

But I agree with John S Stuart in a sense that posting porn links on a Queen forum is mighty inappropriate, and immature as well.

Oh fucks sake, to be disappointed in Queenzone (or Jake) you'd have to have high expectations in the first place. I don't.

I'm far more disappointed that the likes of Treasure Moment and their entire freak show of "band members" haven't yet been nuked, despite being more offensive (and not only to the board members, but to music in general) than any of the other trolls who have passed our way.

Floppyjalopy and innuendo1990 is/are (a) fucking saint(s), and Charles Baer a comparative boy scout compared to Treasure Moment, yet he still is allowed to post.


Then I remember that this is the Internet, and that being disappointed with virtual idiots makes little sense, as opposed to being disappointed with real-life idiots.

I wouldn't really call that hard core porn. But I deleted the links, anyone who replied (and quoted) what I wrote, will need to delete it as well.

I wouldn't be too upset, I remember seeing things on QueenZone when I was 14 years old, that I shouldn't of been looking at, that were too adult for me.

I've been disappointed in Queenzone for years now. It all went downhill when that Lester guy turned up.

I discovered something amazing.

After clicking on the link, I opened up another browser window to Treasure Moment's MySpace page. The music seemed to fit perfectly!
