Mainly, for the Olympics. I'd kill to see the Tibetan National Basketball team play Yao.

Of course there's Queen in China. Don't over-dramatize the censorship.
And aat, as for a Queen album...I guess "A Night At the Opera" would be suitable for a first-time Queen buyer. Although, if you like Killer Queen, you could get the "Sheer Heart Attack" album(includes Killer Queen). I also recommend their live DVDs, such as "Live at Wembley Stadium", for a start. I fell in love with Queen after watching the Wembley DVD, so I think you'll like it too.

If you want to know the real Queen, listen to the Albums. Not just the well known singles! A lot of people have become interested in Queen from the well known songs, which is great, but its not an appreciation of Queen per se.
