also this......

Queen are included in the attractions of The Hard Rock Park, set to open in May in Mrytle Beach, South Carolina.

The Hard Rock Park is said to be the world’s first rock ’n’ roll theme park, and will feature over 40 attractions, with 5 roller coasters, on 140 acre site.

A night-time laser/fireworks show themed on Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” is expected to be announced, according to Screamscape. Check out the park map and you will also see an area titled "Kind of Magic" - and The Queen's Head pub.

The main attraction of the park will be “Led Zeppelin - the Ride,” a 155-foot-tall steel roller coaster, named by Jimmy Page, who picked “Whole Lotta Love” to be played as riders hurl through six loops and rolls at speeds of up to 65 mph. “Midnight Rider” roller coaster is dedicated to Southern rock, and will run inside a building styled as a haunted old sawmill. Other attractions include a stunt show, a hip-hop-themed midway, a country ice show, a “Pinball Wizard” arcade and an amphitheatre.

Tickets most days will be $46, free for children under 3.

One minor quibble with the BoRhap lights/pyro show...the most logical place to have a gigantic "BANG!" in the entire song (the beginning of the rock section) is strangely devoid of any fireworks at all. The lights just cut out entirely and switch to low-level laser illumination.

I don't know, maybe I've just seen so many Queen videos by now that the song seems incomplete without the explosion right there, but as a theme park designer, it seems odd that they'd choose to stop the pyro right there instead of blowing the audience's ears out (as Queen did at that point).
"Do you think I should keep this mustache? Did you say no? F--- off."
True....about the light show, but think there working out the kinks, before the park officially opens....hopefully... ;>

I want to go real bad.

Too bad it's on the other side of the country.

Haha man, good to hear. Possibly I'll see you there and serve you some food (I'm a cook!) :P Hope you enjoy it, it's top notch. I'm hoping I'll be working during the Eagles and the Moody Blues shows (the restaurant I'm working at is right across from the ampitheater) so I can watch it. :)

That would be Great Meals Diner. I don't know if you've seen the sign for the restaurant yet. It has the blinking neon with "gr" and "als" going off for the sign to spell "eat me." Quite funny the first time you see it.

I was working the grand opening on Tuesday and honestly, I thought it was pretty slow. The weather wasn't great anyway, maybe that's why. I went on break and walked past the Led Zeppelin and at most there were maybe 5 people in line.
