Hello All..I was AT this show,( and the rest of the shows they did in the New England area and the Northeast as well, that year).. I have photos of the show. I took pics at all the shows I have ever been to. It was easy getting my SLR in then, and we never sat more than 8 to 10 rows back on the floor, or else you couldn't see Sh*T..When they were touring the area then, I went to the shows, ( tickets where dirt cheap ,for example, I have ,in one of my scrapbooks, my Boston Garden tix from the '77 tour, and they were $8.50).. A couple of my girlfriends and I followed them to many shows in quite a few states over the years... I have from 1977 on been able to see the guys over 50x. I became a fan when" Killer", (not" live killers ")was released here, and I was 14 ..It has been quite a journey..I have met so many many wonderful and great people over the years. And as many of us have been, so privileged to meet up with the guys, several times too,.. One funny story from that tour was,the night we, (my girlfriends and I,) got Freds outright attention at one of the New England shows. Mainly it was because we managed quite luckily to get tix in almost the same general seating areas in each different stadium they played at.,. During a pause in the show, Fred saw us, leaned over to us, (we were in the 3hrd row, and with the way the stage and seating was arranged we could pretty much touch the stage and Fred. ) He was at the end of the stage,( with an open mic on ), and he asked us jokingly if we were stalking him,. We laughed and smiled, he was close enough to hear our replies, and we kinda all half yelled in unison, said," No ! John and Brian''!, Brian feigned shock and surprised with a smile and JD was smiling from ear to ear but with his chin down .. Fred gave us that smile, and as only Fred could do, with a wink and a kiss blown to us from him, said "Cheeky little bitches aren't you?!"... and with that ,the show went on..
Over 50 times... wow! Great stories. Nice to have you here.
Is there any chance you could share any of your pictures? And did you record any of the shows you saw?
Feel free to have a look at my website (queenlive.ca) for info on any of the shows you went to. Hopefully it will bring back some memories. Also feel free to email me, as I'd be happy to add your pictures to my website, making the history of Queen's concerts that much more complete.
