Its good to have Paul because he has very few similarities to Freddie. He's not trying to act like or imitate him.

Äh men skärpning kompis! En uppsalabo ska veta bättre :P
one song does not make a freddie.

Paul RoDgers (I put the D in capitals because it pisses me off so much that people can't even be bothered to spell such a simple name right) is a fantastic vocalist and some Queen fans dont realise that obviously. I am a singer myself and appreciate the tone, feeling and power he puts into every note. He is incredible!! Mika on the other hand is very average as a vocalist, especially live. Get over it. Queen have worked with two of Rocks finest vocalists and are lucky to have such a luxury.

At least your link wasn't a Rick Roll. ;)[/QUOTE]
but does he really have freddies range? because all i hear is silly falsettos all the time and anyone can do that. I havent heard his sing with clean voice and come up to those notes. he is NOWHERE near the same level of freddie and its a blasphemy to even compare him to freddie.
its like taking a random talentless guy from idol and compare him to freddie.

I like Mika, but I don't understand the comparisons to Freddie other than some of the voice. Mika is similar to Freddie's "pop" side maybe, but not the heavy metal Freddie I liked in the '70s...I really can't see Mika singing "Get Down, Make Love." Freddie had all these different personas and Mika seems to have one.
Not that that's necessarily important for a musician (and I think Mika's extrememly talented), but when comparing him to Freddie that's what the difference is to me...the stage presence isn't the same.
And Mika's career is going so well anyway, that it would only be hindered if he suddenly was covering other people's songs full-time...I doubt he'd do it even if they offered him the chance.
