I used to enjoy American Idol, I really did. But of course, when American Idol first started out I was much younger, and now, I happen to concur with the writer of that article, for the most part.

The only interesting singer to ever come out of American Idol has been Kelly Clarkson.
I mean, there's been some few good singers, but it's pointless to give them a record contract when they are going to work with producers and songwriters who will come up with songs of lesser quality than the average mainstream Top 40 crap.
