I have just found a really brilliant - FABULOUS in fact - painting of John Deacon circa 1974/5 on this site. See link above.

Can anyone please tell me who painted it and where I might get in touch with them.

It was submitted by someone called 'basitou'

Thanks.

Try asking John...... oh no, maybe not, Roger says John seldom answers his phone and nobody knows where he is.
That looks more like a processed photograph than an actual painting.

You know how apps like photoshop has those effects that can make a photo look like a line drawing or an oil painting?

That's what I thought when I looked at it.

Yeah, I doubt that's an actual painting. But it looks incredible!

I agree, I've made pictures look like that on Adobe Photoshop

Interesting comments. I'd still love to get a nice print of it. It would look incredible on large scale.

That's definitely NOT a painting.:p
Digital or otherwise. It's most likely created in Photoshop or Painter.
Basitou also submitted one of Brian with pretty spotlights. On that one there is the effect of a canvas added to the photo. Still the "painting" of John looks really cool. I think to get a painting like it, you would have to use that little scraper thingie and lots of paint.
I have that picture/painting on my desktop at home. It is a gorgeous picture!!
I love John Deacon and Brian May!!!
