Okay, I suppose this really should be in the fan mixes section, but here it will reach a much wider audience.

I was sent this by a friend who had been sent it, so I don't know the lineage. Needless to say it's from the Al Murray performance but lacks vocals of any kind.
Normally I'd say it was a fan-made vocal cut, but usually with a vocal cut you get some kind of lyric remaining whether that's a backing vocal or a slightly audible lead vocal. This has none!

Anyway, here it, minus Paul Rodgers (thankfully) and also Roger (pity).
MP3 only guys. Sorry. That's what I was sent.

If it lacks all vocals, is it possible that this could be from a soundboard multi-track recording, without the vocals tracks ? Damn, I really don't understand how that could have been done ! Great job !

thank you very much!
what an improvement!
now we can listen to the music without paul's disturbing noises!

Thank you!
Thanks for sharing.

Take care
This song definitely isn't Queen + Paul Rodgers.

It's not only a fan mix, but it's a cover band (or maybe even just one person... who knows). The beginning and end are from the broadcast, but that's it. You can hear the edit from one to the other at :20. Just listen to the instruments from that point onward. The tone of the guitar is different, and the drumming clearly isn't Roger. The choruses and outtro have Brian-like guitar orchestrations that weren't heard on the broadcast. Otherwise, much work was put into replicating the broadcast, but there are many noticeable differences.

That said, whoever created this should step up and say who they are, because it's fantastic. They have done their homework and have Brian's style down to a tee. Pootle1, perhaps you could do a bit of investigating...?

Well, after GH's reply I am confused and don't know what to say until I can do some comparing :) But.....

Whatever it is, thank you very much!

Yes, listen closer it seems Bob is right, so the mystery of the vocals is now solved. Anyway, the guys are searching for a stuntman of Brian May, in case he fells down a piano pit, for the show to go on. This guy cetainly has the skills !

Sir GH is probably right.
I've now listened to it through my stereo rather than my PC speakers and the sound quality does differ, certainly at the end as the song fades out and back to the Al Murray show.
I also agree that the drums sound pants.

I'll try to trace it back to see where it came from, though I suspect we'll find out it was done by John Deacon who is recording his own version of the new album where he will be doing the singing instead of Paul Rodgers.... :)
it fooled me.
Better than the 'Want To'-' "demo" ' anyway.
:-D

Anything too stupid to be said... is sung.

He owns all the right gears (Kz RS replica, many trebleboosters, AC30, etc, etc...).

Very cool to see Brian and Roger jamming Tear It Up!
