Why is Gerard Way singing parts of Flash?

Sorry if it's been posted, please forgive me, or I might cry

I cried just listening to his Flash semi-cover..

Somebody tell him to not sing Queen anymore. Some people can actually cover Queen songs. He's just not one of them.I mean just listen to his Under Pressure cover with The Used. It's great they like the song, but their voices just don't fit the song.

Now, if this was Celine Dion we were talking about, now that's a different story :D

The guy - I don't know the band - seems to be well-intentioned and to really enjoy the songs. His passion for the song probably keeps him from realizing his technical limitations, I guess. He doesn't sound good even when he's singing his own song, and no offence here to the fans of the band, it's just my most insignificant opinion.

Now, Céline Dion rocks as a singer. She has a wonderful technique and she sounds better than Freddie himself, to my mind, in "The Show Must Go On".

I think Gerard is a great vocalist, but I'm not going to argue about that. Everyone has their own opinion.

This band is an EMO band and the fact that they show Queen as an influence is great!

It brings Queen to a new audiance...

I don't know about their previous albums, but, their last album 'The Black Parade', is totally not emo, in fact, Queen's written far more emo like things than they have on that album.

What exactly is emo??? I need a proper definition before I start labeling bands as emo..

By the way, I didn't say their UP cover was shit.
I just said that the way they sing doesn't fit the song. Gerard's and Bert's voices sound too weak!!! I love the fact they like Queen! I just don't like Gerard's voice singing it..
But, it's just my opinion..
