Queen and Paul Rodgers to play Argentina in November?

well, brian said it himself on his soapbox, so that's it. We are waiting for the confirmation on the dates now!

Apparently some problems with the Velez Sarsfield dates... promotion put on hold, the following two weeks the final decision will be made.

Thank you for these news, Martin. Those are very bad news, as I plan to go to these gigs, appart from those in my country (Brazil). Let us hope it all turns out fine.

Queen are still huge in South America. Only yesterday I was at a popular (religious) party and all of the sudden they announced Freddie Mercury was in the house and insisted to sing.

The band then mimed the Karaoke version of IWTBF and AKOM, while some guy sung it very well, even though he didn't have a clue of the English language (this is common here).

About one thousand people were there and everybody had a smile in their faces, tapped in the tables, hummed the songs and even danced. I DO hope QPR comes and sees all of this down here. It would be a BIG celebration.

Apparently something to do with Madonna's visit in December or something... I don't know how that can cause any problems but the source of this info is from Argentina and he seems to be well informed... although his English is not so good. Don't panic yet :-) I'm sure the gigs will happen in the end.

Escuse me, but in anywhere says thta they will be playing in Argentina. Only says that they added dates for UK...Take a better look.

BM: See - Cynthia was gonna ask me that! (chuckles) Well it’s a possibility. We’re touring starting September. We’re doing Europe, which includes England I guess, and we’re doing some stuff in South America including Rio and Argentina, and then we’ll take a break around Christmastime and we’re tentatively looking at some dates in the States. I think it would be nice. You have to, you have to think carefully before you press those buttons, but it’s gonna be very tempting ‘cos we’ve never had the chance to tour with new material before as Queen and Paul Rodgers, so it’s a possibility. That’s what I’m saying. (chuckle)

Please Queen... come to Uruguay... Remember the cancelled concert in 1983...

i hope this year they could come to houston or dallas,texas or mexico.
