Fight From the Inside!

Does any one else agree with me that 1.This is Roger's best song. 2.This song is bar none the most underrated and unplayed Queen song.I know there is a long list of underrated and unplayed.3.Is it possible that inspiration for the song came from the punk movement,and very possibly the Pistols who were recording in the same studio at the same time,well different studio's same building.Boy I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall there!

Good song, but I think the under-rated Drowse is probably Taylor's best effort.

Drowse is by far my favorite Rodger tune as well. But strangely enough Fight from the inside was in my head this morning at work and I havent even heard it for quite awhile.

I hear everyone that favors Drowse.Fight from the inside seems to have a great Heavy Metal/Hard Rock groovin,guitar, the drums are real heavy,the lyrics are excellent!Don't let me forget the heavy A$$ bass as well,all played by Roger If I'm not mistaken!One more thing Roger's inimitable vocals.Yea Rod's close but he couldn't touch the high notes that Rog hit back then.Any comments on the pistols angle?

Could I also make it a point to note that this is one of the few Queen songs with only Roger and Brian performing on the track as Queen :)

I should clarify....Lyric wise I think Roger is speaking to the Punks ,not that the song is musically punk influenced.Now the song SHA has a definite break neck punk speed.Interestingly,SHA, was written well before the punk movement took hold.FFTI had more of a loping almost funky pace. Once the guitar and vocals kick in it becomes something altogether different.Much more unique than a 3 chord punk style song.
