What about "bombing" Queen Production with requests ? :-)

Adam / Pittrek,

Thanks for the support, but my experiences with QPL in the past heve lead me to not bothering to contact them about ANYTHING.

I think we can all safely say thatthe prefered option on a BBC set would be for it to be all-encompassing and complete to as great a degree as possible with the best mastering and mixing applied to the lowest generation tapes available. Lavish packaging, liner notes, essays and photography of the highest order. Something that would be worthy of the Queen name and would have passed the scrutiny of Mr. Mercury were he alive to give his creative input to the project.

I'm sure that there are many people here (JSS?) that have spoken to or contacted QPL with all kinds of ideas over the years and absolutely nothing ever marterialises. I had tried the OIQFC (when I was silly enough to be a member) regarding all kinds of book / website ideas and drew a complete blank on everything. I've tried contacting Brian through his soapbox, but, as with everything these days, unless it's about zodiacal dust, Kerry Ellis or the musical, nothing, apparently, reaches his ears.

Greg is another "spanner in the works" although to a lesser degree. It appears that he certainly is involved in the organisatio / planning of product to some degree, but, as such, we are unaware to what level this is. I asked him a number of questions in another thread here somewhere around all of this (the degree and invluence he has) but was met with a no response. I fear that, again, unless it's something he wants to hear, then ears are firmly closed.

Greg, if you do happen to read this, please private message me as I have a number of ideas around a BBC box set that would be stunning and blow all other artist's BBC collections out of the water.

Does anyone else have any line into the higher echelons of the organisation where a proposal could be pitched?
Benn
