Well, he is full of shit.
what the shit? who is this guy? XD (i just watched it haha)
you know, i would be pissed too if someone threw something at me.
it is an ego bruising thing, but you gotta wonder, why pay all that money to see a concert liek that to treat the artists like shit?
whats the point?
that and, what if it wasnt a bottle? someone couldve gotten hurt!
that kid was an asshole! hahaha
but i think that josh guy shouldve handled it a lot better. just have the kid removed to go be put in the corner. hes a little shit anyway, even if the band isnt that good (i wouldnt know, i dont know what band hes in), noone deserves that. good that hte kid was embarassed in front of hte crowd! hahahah.
but the thing to think about too, that was a massive crowd, for all we know, the kid mightve been pushed the bottle flew out of his hands. who knows.

I wouldn't doubt it if the poor kid was traumatizingly embarrased, having been berated like that in front of of thousands of concert-goers.
But at the same time, that was very rude and impolite of that brat to throw objects at the singer.
If it'd been me, I would have told him off too, but maybe with only a quarter of the foul language the QOTSA singer used there, maybe a bit less.
He doesn't sound much different from some of the rude youth living here in my city, and I hate it when they talk like that, using multiple swear words and putdowns in one sentence.

apparently he made an apology.
perezhilton.com has it on there somewhere.
it goes on to say how he should apologize for being a dick, and overreacting, but not apologizing to the whole 'im forced to be PC about everything' bit.
in a way, i have to agree. unfortunatly when youre an entertainer, you get crucified for being passionatly pissed off about something, even if injust in their actions.
he says (im parapharasing) that he does not hate gay people because he said 'faggot' or doesnt hate women because he called him a 'pussy'. and i have to agree. words like that are thrown around so much that we just dont think about the original meaning behind them. but you know what? why should it hurt anyone anymore? why generalize a group of people, when really, its the intent of the words that matter. he was more on hurting the kids feelings to make him feel like he did, not offend a group of people.
i dunno, thats just me hating the idea of being PC. its gotten so ridiculous that people are basically trained to be offended if any words like that are thrown around, so if anyone is offended, i just tell them to deal with reality and theres worse things that would be traumatizing, like if someone berated them for being a certain way, instead of overused meaningless words. if anything, i consider them impolite and unpleasent, but they have lost their original meanings. political corrections are just wrong in senses anyway. we need to stop pussy-footing around (haha yep i said it) and stop trying to watch what we say in case we 'offend' anyone. i mean, at least be tactful and get the words out of your vocabulary and be polite, but im just sick of someone getting pissed off because they feel they should be, not because they are genuinly offended and hurt by the name....know what i mean?
rasicm and stupid names are such jokes anyway.
sorry for the rant XD to word it best, i dont believe in double standards...

There's a video floating around of The Who live, where, after a bottle was thrown at Roger, Pete got the crowd to throw money at him. A true test of performing prowess: your reaction to having things thrown at you...
[QUOTENAME]Jacob Britt wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Kind of over the top. I wouldn't of reacted the way he did.
i think he wasnt too bad on him, if it was me i would have beat up that kid until he was laying on the floor with severe pain.

he just reacted the way he should, you cant throw things on people and expect to get away with it.
