From what I have read in newspapers and seen on TV about Mandela's 90th Birthday there seems to be no mention of Queen and Paul Rodgers, instead they fill it with crap celebs and ignore the work Brian, Roger and Paul have done for the 46664 charity and that they are probably the most sucsessful act at the whole concert

Queen & Paul are just a very small part of the day. Why would they warrant more coverage than anyone else?

Let's be honest: for most people QPR are about as relevant as the current version of The Doors or ELO minus Jeff Lynn.

Brian was on ITV's lunchtime news talking about the event. They showed the stage set up and from the quick glance I got, it looked like Roger is using the green kit he used on Al Murray. Brian brought up the subject about the 46664 Aids Foundation and the work that it does, so that should keep him happy for now.
Apparently the show is to finish with a rendition of "Free Nelson Mandela" the old Specials (I think it was them) hit from years ago

The Dutch TV guide said Queen & Paul Rodgers would be performing. They also mentioned Annie Lennox and that there are Spice Girls rumours. Besides that Oprah Winfrey will attend and Will Smith will host it
