sorry ive been seeing some things that i just dont understand.

like how celebs can leave jail after a handful of minutes, but a normal person cant.

a black person can say the 'n- word but whites cant.

certain groups of people can say and do certain things, but others cant.

stupid exceptions are what cause imbalances in the world.

does anyone else see this as frustrating? who else has experienced these things? discuss!
"why pay the visit when the visit is free?"
I don't see it as frustrating but more as irratating. It doesn't really effect my life, but I don't like to realize it.

There's only a few african american's in my town, and they call their white friends 'Nigga' and they call them it back, and they think it's a good word that describes friendship. It's pretty bad. Immature and they have no fucking clue about the past.
"Please buy my upcoming album... I need the money"
I see them!

It's quite annoying.

I've already faced the truth.

This world's going totally mental.

FACT.
I'm sick of all my kicks.

about the jail thing- were you referring to Khloe Kardashian??

I don't believe that the jail could've been "overcrowded" twice..

and yeah,i am pretty pissed off about all this stuff happening.

kinda like when certain guys think their band is better than Coldplay XD

Yeah. I mean it's okay for the goverment to install CCTV cameras to keep an eye on law abiding citizens but when I got caught video taping the woman next door, I'm the one who has to appear before a magistrate.

And nobody bats an eyelid when George Bush invades a foreign country to steal it's oil but when I climbed over my neighbours fence to syphon petrol out of his Vauxhall Astra, he kicks my fucking head in.

It's one rule for the sane and another rule for people who have been sectioned under the mental health act I tell ya.

fatty.
I fucking luv ya Aylena!

You've really got the wrong end of the stick. Is there malice in their use of this word?

It's just a word. Using it on television gratuitously for instance would be somewhat wrong because you just know you're going to offend someone..... why bother? It's not really very nice.
But the situation you've just described is between friends with no (apparent) hatred going on. That is, if it's as you describe it.

There's a very big grey area with a word like 'nigger', and I can respect that, but if there's something worse than using a word like that in a situation where you can guarantee it'll cause offense, it's being uppity and belligerent about hearing it for no real reason.

if its a mutual thing and its ok with everyone, then it shouldnt be a problem. its somewhat empowering to take a word that once was used in malice to something thats ok. but its not ok when they would say 'we can say this, but you cant'...not cool.

its tough cuz they instill it in them when theyre young that 'you should not forget what was done to your ancestors'...when really, its not that bad anymore. if anything the tables turned, and why promote rasicm in your children by giving them that attitude?

the word does bother me, cuz...i dunno, some words just do XD kinda like "cunt"...it just sounds unpleasent. the meanings dont mean much to me. but the meaning to most people is what bothers them. really, words should only bother you as much as you let them.

im losing my point...what jake sees isnt so much a double standard. if its used among all groups, then no problem! its when people sayyou cant do it but someone else can is what is aggrivating.

That came to my mind as well.
Class justice, double standards, hypocrite morals, they seem to be as endemic to society as corruption and other crime. And in the end, it all boils down to power: those who have power and influence get off light, those who don't pay the price. And that is no different in capitalism, communism, fascism, etc. It's just that every system has a different group getting the hammering.
