LONDON (AP) -- Singer Amy Winehouse's husband was sentenced Monday to 27 months in jail for assault and obstructing justice.


Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been jailed for 27 months.

Blake Fielder-Civil has admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him $400,000 to keep quiet about it.

y'know, my best friend just broke up with her loser boyfriend and she was doing the same things amy is...just loving him out of spite lol

anyway, hopefully amy will have sense to just stop wasting her energy on drugs and a loser, or they both clean up...which is unlikely.

In England they have things like time served and time off for good behaviour for crimes that aren't 1st degree felonies as we do in our country and as the article suggests. So i doubt he will actually serve the full sentence even though being off the streets for 27 months and away from drugs and alcohol is probably the best thing for him. Brotha Microwave i'm all about mackin' on a ho when her man in prison but Amy too far gone even for me.
