ANNOUNCE: VH1 Europe Queen Weekend igital satellite capture

Hi,
Last weekend VH1 Europe had a Queen Weekend.
I compiled 7 less common clips in a DVD:

Direct satellite stream captured with Dreambox 7000S receiver.
Demuxed with ProjectX and multiplexed for DVD with mplex from the sourceforge

The video on this DVD is exactly as broadcast over satellite!
There is no loss of quality or introduction of artifacts in the toolchain used.

Note that VH1 transmits in a DVB resolution (544x576) that is not DVD compliant.
This means your DVD player may reject it or not play back correctly.

I don't think that will be possible since most of these vids are official stuff and the torrent was removed from the tracker so don't bother waiting for a seed.

Well at least the Wyclef Jean video was never released as far as I know, could somebody upload at least that one ?

WTF with this official/unofficial staff this time? I CAN record this from tv for myself but my friend CAN'T do this for me??
What's the difference? QP gave this to VH1 to let people watch/record it. So QP aproved it. Why trackers not?

These clips are definitely official.

If the Rainbow '74 concert can't be shared (which was only very limitedly available on VHS), then these clips, available on the Greatest Flix 3 VHS, shouldn't be allowed here either.

Yes they are official! But with license to record this by viewers. It's QP risk if people buy this after broadcast or not. And they (we) of course do!! Because of quality of a picture, because of a sound quality, because of a new (great ;) aspect ratio or format or because of risk of hole in a collection.
And I agree Rainbow cannot be shared here, becouse they spread it with other kind of license.
And I now I'll lose this time again, but I've just wanted to ask.

Actually QP didnt. VH1 (and any other TV companies) only has the rights to broadcast it. You, the viewer, technically only have the rights to watch that broadcast. If you do decide to record it, you definetely dont have the rights to share that recording with any friends, etc, no matter how well intentioned your motives could be.
