C-lebrity, Whats the verdict??

I think that the song is a grower and after listening to the studio version for the first time i realise how good Paul sings on it!
But the problem i have with it is, the fact that i has a weak chorus!
what do u think of the album version??

First of all, it's not the album version. It's the single version as noted in the album club. Secondly, although it's your opinion against mine, I think the chorus is kind of catchy. It's not their best, but then again, what is their best? Overall, I must say the studio version is quite good.

It's grown on me. Not the best thing they have ever done, but not the worst.

i thought it was good.

I managed to get a good wav rip from the album club, burnt on a data cd and ... I´ve been in my car for the last 30 minutes listening to the song over and over again !!! :)

Yeah, it´s good, quite good!! it´s powerful, and Paul rocks, as does Rog at the drums and some guitar details by Bri. Even the bass sounds good, wich has been a serious concern for many of us!

When talking about the weakness of the main chorus, I think it is done intentionally in the first one, as there´s a remarkable break in the song wich maybe produces this weakness sensation.

But If you listen to every little detail of the song (and there are many!) you feel it grow faster and faster inside you.

Yes, now it is for real: CAN´T FUCKIN´ WAIT for the album, the single, the tour and whatever they deliver to us !!

When I first heard C-Lebrity on the Al Murray show, I was very disapointed with it. However, I really began to appreciate the song, and felt it had the classic Queen trademarks while still remaining fresh and current.

The studio version is really refreshing, and I love all of the 'hidden' sounds that linger within the music. The only part I'm not sure on is the audience sound effect that occasionally crops up. Maybe it will grow, but I just find it a bit unecessary at the moment.

If the band makes a video for this single, I think it's got some hit potential. C-Lebrity has rejuvinated my confidence in Queen. After the disastrous 'The Call', I was worried that Brian and Roger had lost it. They've proven me wrong.

Yeah i've noticed them hidden sounds, i think one of them is the sound of a camera zoom, or somethin. Yeah i never like hearing crowd noise on a studio track!!

Musically, it's a classic Queen rocker, but I still can't stomach the lyrics.

Why do Queen sing about people who should be well below their radar? It's like writing a protest song about dog shit in streets.

Pretty good track...better now that I am awake after waking up at 430 am to hear it the first time....definitely rocks!! Wish Brian did a longer guitar solo though....and don't care much for the audience samples...otherwise a great rocker!

Well considering I've listened to it back-to-back like 6 times in a row, it must be good! Man I so RARELY do that with music. However I'm still bitter than the live "Fire & Water" has been relegated to vinyl and digital packages and not as the b-side to this single.

I didn't like it when I first heard it in april, but I think this studio version is good and it's a grower. Thumbs up
