I thought yesterdays opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Beijing was just too stunning for words. Mind you, half an hour after watching it, I felt like watching another one.

I cant help but feel sorry for the poor buggers who are responsible for the opening ceremony of the London games in 2012 though. I cant imagine a couple of hundred kids from local primary schools singing a song (which will no doubt be churned out in Elton John's next spare five minutes) and a display of the Metropolitan police dog handlers is going to cut the mustard.

fatty.
Lesson of modern geography for dummies. Wasn't flame too much... err... flaming? I think heart of that guy in the air was in his boots in that moment.

FLASHMAN STRIKES AGAIN! Paul Rodgers is not the best thing since fried Fred.
Nah, Al Murray will stand in the middle of the venue and tell jokes.
I loved all the digital extras they put on the fireworks shows. It fooled me.
