Does anyone know if there will be a video for C-lebrity? Another thing I would like to know is if the tour edition of Cosmos Rocks will also have the extra DVD.

Hannie from the Dutch fanclub said in an e-mail today that she heard the album already. She is not allowed to share the tracklist, but she said that you can check the Free Record Shop site (that tracklist was posted here earlier). Hannie did however post the tracklist of the extra DVD. It contains live recordings of Q+PR in Japan:

1 Reaching Out
2 Tie Your Mother Down
3 Fat Bottomed Girls
4 Another One Bites The Dust
5 Fire & Water
6 Crazy Little Thing Called Love
7 Teo Torriatte
8 These Are The Days Of Our Lives
9 Radio Ga Ga
10 Can't Get Enough
11 I Was Born To Love You
12 All Right Now
13 We Will Rock You
14 We Are The Champions
15 God Save The Queen
I hope they are doing a proper single promo video.

Nice of Hannie to send out a note on the new album. I wonder does Jacky know anything about the new album - of course we won't know until she comes back from her holiday :-|

I'm very disappointed with the dvd-tracks. It seems they are lifted straight from the Japan-only DVD-release "Queen + Paul Rodgers - Super Live In Japan" (another great title that made me wonder who's in charge of the marketing-department nowadays).
I suppose some (if not a lot) QZ'ers already purchased this dvd through the internet. So no new tracks for those people. Also, why add material from their PREVIOUS tour? This is a NEW album with NEW tracks so why refer to OLD material? A lot of artists (Robbie Williams, Sting, to name a few) at least add some "making of the NEW album"-documentary on cd+dvd-releases like this. But not Queen. They just grab something from the shelves and make it look like some special release. Why, oh why?

You just answered your own question. ;)

It's an ideal opportunity to double the profits with practically no work... What could be better?

Like "Breakthru", "Headlong", "The Miracle", "Funny How Love Is" are brilliant song titles.

I cannot wait. All the time I feared they would pull together some half-finished 46664 crap, add a remake of an old Queen/Paul Rodgers song and throw in 4 or 5 ACTUAL new songs.

01. New song
02. Say It's Not True
03. New song
04. Take Love
05. Hammer To Fall (slow/fast)
06. Invincible Hope
07. New song
08. New song
09. New song
10. The Call

14 new tracks of which we've heard just TWO before. I cannot wait. I'll be first in line to get the damn disk, even though I pre-ordered it at the QOL shop.
but will the dvd be included with the pre-ordered cd. I cannot find any details about this in the webshop.
What do you think Poppo? Will QOL give their fans a dvd so they don't have to buy the special edition - or will they release TWO different special edition so that the fans will have to buy BOTH? :D

I already thought so.
If you order via the Album Club you'll get the standard CD in a exclusive paper slip card case and also get an exclusive poster (perhaps made up from the photos they asked fans to submit for the Return of The Champions CD sleeve??)

the CD will also be released as a 'standard' CD, which means in a hard jewel case

There will also be a CD+DVD, which is seems contains the majority of Super Live in Japan which we've all mostly bought already.

In addition, there will be digital download versions available.

As has been said, it would be much better to put a documentary 'Making of' the album on the DVD, or they could have performed a fan club members only gig prior to release and put that on DVD. Or filmed promo clips for the lead single (plus whatever the next single would be) and put those on too.

Never mind, we're used to getting nothing special now from QPL

Some people just have to whine about everything. We're getting a NEW ALBUM full of NEW SONGS. Isn't that enough?

Second this. Theyve worked two years on this album and all people are whining about is that dont get enough "extras". The album is apparently even an hour long, which is about the same length as two Queen-albums in the old days.
Why is this whining? It is a rip-off towards fans who joined the album club and pre-ordered the exclusive tour-edition album only to find out a couple of months later that this edition won't feature the dvd which will be included with the version that is available at your local recordstore. I glad didn't pre-order the cd. I don need a cardboard sleeve and a poster, I want the extra dvd.
