By the end of the 16th century the mill by the common formed part of Puttenham Priory (GR: SU933478),
a handsome Palladian (1) villa built in 1762 by Thomas Parker with gardens later designed by Gertrude Jekyll, and now fully restored.
The Priory has an ice house (GR: SU934477). Roger Taylor, the drummer from the band Queen lives at the house.

As far as I know Roger's studio is called Cosford Mill?
Did he not sell this house/ studio?
I believe you are indeed looking at the home of his studio, he did a lot of work on the house including building a studio after he sold Cosford.

I'd say it is his house/studio - look at this new pic found in the Album Club.... http://www.queenonline.com/qpr/uploads/7a43644faf9e114e8029707a396b0b19.jpg and then compare it to around the middle of the pic that's been uploaded to the google link above... I think that could be the same place! (check the ornamental stuff on the left in the album club pic)
Can I suggest for the sake of his privacy we don't put much else that will draw lots of attention to his home.
It is pretty easy these days to find pretty well everyones home address, however as we are Queen fans... why not let him get on with life without having hords of fans outside his gate.

I do agree with the privacy issue, I did think of that when I was posting, but they did give a huge clue in the press release so they can't be to bothered with info being public knowledge.
Also on the second link I put on, it did state he lived there so it was already on the web, ok maybe hidden away but a quick search on google revealed all.
Also I don't think it's a good idea to be going to there private houses, so I'd be happy for this toppic to be removed.

As for the security question:
First: Roger will spend as much time away from the place - as he will stay there. So chances of him actually being there - if you visited would be quite remote.
Second: The reason Roger bought this place was for the remoteness and seclusion. So even if you did manage to make your way to the house - don't you think it would be pretty secure anyway?
Finally: (To the posters above) - why the need to scroll your text - it only makes your comments harder to read - and mucks up the rest of the page to boot.
