What is the version of Time on the following amazon.com link - track 10 of the previews? It is a different version of Time that's on my copy of the same disc. This one is a piano and Freddie only one. The one on my disc is the original single release.

Maybe it's cause I'm on my laptop listening, but that does seem to be different. I thought you may have been referring to the one that starts with piano and then hits with the band at the chorus section. Of course, it could still be that version. If only the clip was longer. Otherwise, it's a mix I've heard before.

There are two versions of the discs... because there is a EMI version and a Hollywood Records Version!
When you have the 12 Disc Freddie Mercury Box you know both tracks!

Not at all a mystery...right after that, the band starts in.
Time, waits for nobody...pause.. BOOM BOOM Time, etc....

Thanks Geldy you have solved the mystery - there are 2 version of Lover Of Life.. But what version is this on the Hollywood release? It's not the single mix (which has drums) is it the version from the Time album?
Even though Freddie didn't contribute to the writing, 'Time', is one of the best songs he's released!
