mmm, yummy.
Oh, by the way, I hope you aren't referring to the picture of the placenta in the article. 'Cause, that's a picture of a nasty fish.
This is the real placenta.

The human race is doomed. People are just too damned squeamish these days; if our ancestors had been as oogie about childbirth as we are, where would we be?!

If our ancestors had access to things like streaming internet videos and slideshows, I'm thinking they'd be just as 'oogie' about childbirth as we are today. It's good though, IMO. There are too many people in this world now anyway. It's time to cut back...

I was just kiddin about the nightmares!
I'm not squeamish at all! In fact, my dream is to become a surgeon! I watch a lot of stuff (surgeries especially) that has to do with health and medicine. I update myself with the latest medical breakthroughs and stuff. My favorite books: medical encyclopedias and books about different diseases, etc.
That picture of the placenta (I know it's not the blobfish) is pretty awesome if you ask me :P

i didnt realize how weird it actually looked! i thoguht it would just look like dead lettuce XD
im actually fascinated with surgeries but childbirth is something i know i never want to go thru. its not because of those pics, its just that i dont want to ever deal with is XD theres just too much that could happen that i cant handle.

Childbirth is nothing compared to the 20+ years that follow it.
I definitely don't want kids. Taking care of my own life is enough responsability. I don't need another life in my hands.
Plus, little children must be the most irritating things in the world when they knock on your bedroom door right when you're about to fuck their mother.

I've done the delivery room three times, and let me tell you: it's horrifying. Seeing my favourite plaything contort and stretch and spew out a load of blood, shit, slime and placenta would be enough to put a man off pussy forever. But...nature is smarter than any man. When you see your immortality come into this world, see your woman take unbearable pain and deliver against all odds - that's a miracle. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

I'm betting she would.

Ha ha, yeah, I'm sure she'd have rather just had them delivered Fed Ex than the traditional way.

Agreed.
I have plenty of friends who know all about this anyway but still want to have children...many. And all of them are the ones I hope never reproduce, honestly. It's gonna be a scary future. O.O
