Yes, I got the email too! :)

Does this mean that the album will be shipped a week from now? That is September 12th. This way SOME people could get it before release date, as promised.

Not me, I guess, but it is great that they are shipping the items 3 days before commercial release.

It's normal for some overseas online retailers to ship some CD/DVD products a few days early for international customers. Not always though.
I believe I had a Sarah Brightman CD-Single shipped 2-3 days before its release date last year from Japan, which surprised me at first.
I got a confirmation as well. I'm quite excited!

Shipping? Why do Americans use the term shipping when a ship is in no way involved?!

Well, there CAN be a ship involved if you send something by groud mail (in otherwords, SLOWER than post mail) and it has to cross the ocean along the way :-P

But now that you point it out, I do actually ponder that myself now...

I guess we use the term because we started using it before we could fly. The term simply carried on from generation to generation.

I got a confirmation as well! And...why is the single available in Germany BEFORE Queen + Paul Rodgers' home country? Anyone?
I have to return some videotapes.
