But, that's not the way it works. Think about when Brian or Roger took lead vocals while Queen was still around. Do you think they told Freddie "Sorry, we don't need you on this one"? Of course not! Paul's a nice guy, and I don't think he would've objected to letting Bri or Rog take the vocals on a song or two.
